Visa
Application
There are both immigrant and
non-immigrant visa options; but unless the applicant has parents
living in the United States, the appropriate visa to apply for is
the non-immigrant student visa. Immigration regulations are very
strict with respect to working illegally while carrying a student
visa. F-1 status, which is the most common status for full-time
international students, allows for part time, on-campus employment
(fewer than 20 hours per week). To get the F-1 visa approved, the
student will need to show that s/he has sufficient funds to pay
for the first year of study and that financial resources are
available to cover the rest of your educational program.
It
is very important to understand that the United States'
immigration process is very much like the judicial process:
credibility is the watch word. It is absolutely unnecessary to lie
about anything. You MUST come clean about everything. That is the
only way by which PremiumScholar can adequately assess your needs and
assist you to get the best for your money.
